Tom Barton is a writer, broadcaster and filmmaker based in the beautiful North East of England.ย
He has fronted prime-time documentaries for ITV1 and BBC Radio 4 on subjects as diverse as the 1990s rave scene, the illegal felling of the Sycamore Gap tree and the problems that can face those buying a new-build home.ย
A former BBC political correspondent, he has reported for all the major national news programmes across ITV, BBC television and BBC radio. He is currently the Northumberland Correspondent for ITV News Tyne Tees.
